We are incredibly excited to formally announce our Spring 2023 class of the Pennsylvania Delta Chapter! Please join us in welcoming the following undergraduates into the brotherhood. Learn a little more about each new member through their bios below:

Eta Tako (born and raised in Denton, Texas) is a student at The Wharton School studying finance and behavioral economics. After Penn, he hopes to work in the finance industry and eventually lead his own company. He served as the vice president of the new member class, and he is passionate about fitness, the outdoors, and giving back to his community.

Tyler Gong comes from New York City and is in Penn’s Vagelos Integrated Program in Energy Research, pursuing degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Chemistry. He plans to enter a career in scientific research, developing new sources of clean, grid-scale energy. Outside of academics, Tyler plays guitar in a band along with two other instruments. 

Victor Lobelo hails from Littleton, Colorado, studying Finance at the Wharton School. He’s looking to break into banking and real estate with the hopes of one day running a corporation of his own. He has worked closely with President Chinea to observe the inner workings of the chapter. In addition to English he speaks Spanish and French, and has an array of hobbies ranging from chess to guitar as well as tennis and weightlifting.

Hoon Lee is a rising sophomore at the College of Arts and Sciences studying economics. He hails from Seoul, South Korea but he has also lived in Kuala Lumpur, Jeju Island, and London. Hoon is an aspiring investment banker— he ultimately aims to create his own private equity/venture capital firm. Hoon is bilingual in English and Korean, and he speaks Chinese on a limited working proficiency. 

Sem Ferid, an Ethiopian from Kentucky, studies Computer science in the School of Engineering and Applied Science. Speaking 2 other languages, French and Amharic, and coding in several, Sem hopes to use his skills to make an impact in the virtual world.

Coleman Wampler hails from Philadelphia, PA. He is a student in the College of Arts in Sciences studying Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. He was his new member class Social Chair this past year. He currently works as a lifeguard and hopes to volunteer as an EMS after college. He is also excited to lead incoming freshmen on the Appalachian Trail this upcoming semester as a PennQuest leader. Fun fact: He is a master juggler.

David Shon emerges from Seoul, South Korea and is in College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in cellular and molecular biology. He yearns to practice medicine and defeat pancreatic cancer through rigorous and meticulous research. He loves to play poker and table tennis.

Reagan McGill hails from Easton, PA and is in the College of Arts and Sciences. He plans to major in Economics and minor in Hispanics studies. He hopes to work as an international economist focusing on Central and South American countries. He enjoys tap dancing and has done so since he was three years old.

Michael A. Alfano hails from Dorset, VT and is studying computer science in the School of Engineering & Applied Science. He aspires to become a software engineer and entrepreneur, with a long-term goal of working in the field of venture capital. Currently, he is gaining experience as a software engineer intern at Vestmark. Michael was also the new member class president.

Michel Jung emerges from Los Angeles, California. He currently studies in the College of Arts and Sciences pursuing a major in Communications as well as a minor in Consumer Psychology. He hopes to utilize his entrepreneurial mindset and ambitions in order to foster positive social impact in both his community and across the world.

Ishaan Hardaway is a Sophomore from Newtown, PA majoring in political science and studying Russian language. He hopes to eventually work in education, politics, or a mix of both. In his free time, he plays for the club baseball team and volunteers in West Philadelphia schools.

Alan Raskin is a sophomore from Rochester, NY studying mathematical economics and computer science. He hopes to work in software development or data science. Outside the classroom, he can be found with Penn’s Model UN or Mock Trial teams, working at the Student Federal Credit Union, or exploring hiking trails.
