In Loving Memory, Vincent Elmer Rettew Jr, 88 passed away on January 21, 2022, in Walnut Creek, CA. Vincent, eldest son of Vincent & Irma Rettew was born on May 11, 1933, in Lebanon, Pa. Moved to Pottstown, Pa where he graduated from Pottstown HS with the class of 1951. Graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1955. Was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and Mask & Wig club. He also served in the Korean War as a Captain in the Army. Vincent married his beautiful wife Bonnie in 1960, had 3 children Stephen, David & Sharon. Moved to Walnut Creek, Ca in 1969 and soon after started his own business which he owned and operated for over 40 years. He also has 3 grandsons who he loved and cherished dearly Daniel, Erik & Chance. Vincent was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Loved to dance, golf, play cards and most of all tell jokes. He will be missed by all who knew & loved him. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at Mt Zion Cemetery in Pottstown, Pa on Feb. 10 at 10:30 am. Following in Walnut Creek, Ca., a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday March 12, at “The Greenery” (Diablo Hills Golf Club) from 11:30 to 2:30ish.
